My Story
One weekend, my sister invited my Mom, my daughter, and me to go with her to an open house event an old classmate of hers was having.....and that's when I first experienced Scentsy. The aroma that greeted us when we walked through the front door that day was absolutely scrumptious.....and it had nothing to do with the food in the kitchen, it was the Scentsy candle! The three of us quickly made our way through all of the vendors and then spent the next hour at the Scentsy vendor looking at warmers and smelling scent samples. When you have 80 wonderful scents to choose from, it's not easy narrowing it down to only a select few! Between all of us though, we ended up with 3 warmers and 9 scent bars.
A little over a month later, my family and I loved our Scentsy warmer so much that I decided our living room wasn't the ONLY place in the house that I could put a warmer. So off to my Scentsy Consultant's house I went.....my husband even went with me (yes, you read that right)! We had a great time picking out our new warmer and 6 more scrumptious scent bars! This time it only took me about a week to realize that I STILL had more places in the house that I could put a warmer, so.....yep, you guessed it.....off to my Scentsy Consultant's house I went again! This time I took my Mom with me. (Hey, I figured if I had more places in MY house to put warmers then my Mom probably did too...and she did!) I just LOVE the aromatic experience I get as I walk through my house now and one scent evolves into another!
When it was time to change the scent in the warmers, I found myself enjoying the selection process so much that I had to add even more scents to my collection. I was also browsing my Consultant's website monthly to see what the special warmer and scent of the month were.....in case I had to have one (and yes, I had to have several of them!) I even made sure my family and friends were kept up-to-date on any specials or promotions that were going on. Then it hit me.....why don't I just become an "official" Scentsy Consultant.....I mean I LOVE the product and I was already "selling" it, so why not get paid for what I was already doing?! So in August 2010, I officially joined the Scentsy family of Independent Consultants!!
And what a journey! I feel so blessed that Scentsy came into my life...it's my Happy Place! My house always smells amazing! I get to meet so many awesome new friends! I help support my family! And I have a ton of fun!
